LSU WR Jonathan Giles Is Switching His Jersey Number

Kind of like getting fired but they say you resigned.

I made a thread on this and got CRUSHED. Called it.

Well, good for him....time to turn the corner.

Sweet, I say we pass the number 7 on to delpit since his play as of late is certainly worth it.

I don’t think he has made one defender miss all year. He is not a threat at all with the ball in his hands.

A jersey number doesn't change your speed. He is playing way too slow for an SEC team. He's our 7th best WR. The only positive so far has been that he is a safe punt returner, but then today he botched that by fielding the ball inside the 10 several times. He is not a play-maker against SEC defenses.

Again again and Again I questioned months ago how a man neveron the team(we talkin bout practice) gets the honor of 7. Bad move on the coaches

I had high hopes for the young man...but he was designed for the big 12 ultra spread offense....being short and quick. We like our wrs big in the SEC. hoping he can turn it around

Giles never performed to the level of #7 so this is good to see. Before he came to LSU, I read he was the bomb and also during preseason practices. More like a dud.

This explains why LSU lost to UF.

hew never earned, nor proved talented enough to wear a number "usually" reserved only for the player who stands out above the rest both on and off the field. it was given to him for nothing and diminished what that number traditionally stood for. not saying he isnt a good kid, but he is not a team leader on and off the field
