LSU TO HOST FLORIDA IN PRIME TIME ON ESPN

BATON ROUGE – LSU’s game against Florida on Saturday, October 12 will be played in prime time with a 7 p.m. kickoff, the Southeastern Conference announced on Monday.

The game will be televised on ESPN. The Florida game will also serve as LSU’s Homecoming and will include the on-field recognition of 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Johnny Robinson, who is also serving as LSU’s SEC Legend this year.

The LSU-Florida contest next week will be the first time the teams have met on ESPN in prime time since 2015 when the Tigers posted a 35-28 victory in Tiger Stadium.

LSU returns to action on Saturday, hosting 3-1 Utah State at 11 a.m. in Tiger Stadium. Tickets for the Utah State game as well as the potential Top 10 matchup with Florida are on sale at www.LSUtix.net.

Don’t go out of your way to root for Florida this week. We may not get Gameday since ESPN will probably slut for OU/UT.

No. I think they will take an undefeated LSU vs undefeated Fla over OU-Texas. They were already in Austin this year for us. Night game LSU? They coming

@Lucky Loper - Gameday will be in Gainesville this week. The Red River will 100% be Gameday regardless. Auburn's gonna smash Florida anyway I think. We'll get gameday for them.

Yeah—on second thought y’all are probably right. Even if Florida beats Auburn they take the Texas-OU game. Auburn-Florida this week really intrigues me. I’m not sure who will win. I think it will be a great defensive game

They love Alabama and we love night games in Tiger Stadium. Let Bama have all of the 2:30 screen time they want!

They've got Auburn @ Florida this week. I guess they didn't want to have Florida back-to-back.
