Okeke first started playing football in 2013 after arriving in the states from Anambra, Nigeria and was rated a five-star prospect by 247Sports.

The 6-6, 312-pound prospect from Faith Baptist in Georgia redshirted during his freshman season to learn more about the game. He was listed as LSU's third-string left tackle this season but only played special teams.

Chili they hired a stud offensive coach. How do you feel now??? I know we screw up sometimes. Don't screw up again at the division 2 school of your choice

Are some of you really trashing this kid? We will have some solid o-linemen coming along with the ones returning. I didn't realize he owned it to all LSU fans to not look for other opportunities and do what he feels what is best for him.

Am I the only one, or does it seem weird that I guy who doesn't want to be a part of your program or school any longer would tweet," Go Tigers" in his farewell tweet?!

Another shining example of our OL Recruiting under Grimes! Hey Jeff, go to Wisconsin with Aranda and get some OL's that can play your scheme and protect our QB in SEC games!

LSU has still has less transfers than UF & UGA had with new coaches & aTm & Tennnessee had with established coaches.

Translation: I'm not good enough to start here or even get playing time, so I'm transferring to a lesser school so I can have a chance to play. Probably not a bad idea.

Right, considering he got action in every game in his first eligible season... Maybe just maybe there's more to the story that you're not privy to. Shocker

Got damn't. Was looking forward to what he could do as a true LT. LSU has been running guards at tackle for years now.

what happened to staying to be a part of something you'll always be proud of? Sitting out a year just to go to a school no one ever heard of seems a terrible idea. Just stick it out and graduate. LSU aint exactly Yale, but get a degree and decide what you want to do to contribute to society. Everyone of these guys thinks they'll be millionaire football players forever...
