LSU starting buck linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson will miss the remainder of the season after reportingly suffering a torn ACL in the season opener vs. Miami.

Head coach Ed Orgeron announced the news Tuesday afternoon. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Chaisson was hurt in the Tigers' win vs. Miami on Sunday and didn't return to the game. Orgeron didn't elaborate, when asked, about the nature of the injury.

He appeared to have injured his left knee in the fourth quarter without much contact from another player.

"I feel bad for him," Orgeron said. "He's a great young man. He's going to get through this and will have a great career down the road."

Moore was the #1 Juco DE in the country. Anthony and Thornton are skilled as well. Chaisson will be surely missed but what better coach than Aranda to figure it out.

Feel bad for him. He looked lost last year but looked like a stud on Sunday until he got hurt. It sucks because it looked like he was going to have a monster year.

Humble kid, his story is not over. He will still be a great teammate and valuable member on that Defense. Next year will be here soon and he will be terrifying QBs again.
