LSU Getting Thin At Offensive Guard With Latest Injury To Kardell Thomas
by TD Staff Reporter
August 14, 201923 Comments
LSU freshman offensive guard Kardell Thomas suffered an injury in practice on Wednesday that could keep him out for a little bit, according to head coach Ed Orgeron.
Thomas, a former five-star prospect from Southern Lab in Baton Rouge, was expected to add much-needed depth at the guard spot this season.
Orgeron did not know how serious the injury was but the news isn't great for a position group that is already banged up with lineman Chasen Hines, Damien Lewis, and Thomas Perry missing all practices this week.
Orgeron added that offensive lineman Adrian Magee is in the lead for left guard at this point.
