According to multiple reports, LSU defensive end Quency Wiggins has entered the NCAA transfer portal.

Wiggins, a redshirt sophomore from Baton Rouge, appeared in five games as a true freshman in 2022, then took a redshirt this season.

He is the sixth LSU player to enter the transfer portal this offseason:

RB Tre Bradford
DT Bryce Langston
DB Laterrance Welch
RB Amari Goodwin
TE Jackson McGohan
DE Quency Wiggins

During his EOY interview he may have been told what is REALLY happening on defensive side of the tigers. And didn’t like it. Maybe?

Too bad it didn't work out for him. Can't say it really bothers me when a player from this defense bails. Good luck young man. I hope things work out for the best.

Had high hopes for him. Seem to remember he was projected as a starter after the spring game

This fricking sucks.

He lost this whole year and last year of development bc of no position coach he is such a talent I wish things clicked sooner he is going to be a nfl player based off talent alone, I hope he goes to a smaller college where he will absolutely dominate and be all league next year and shoe everything he needs

He played a good bit against A&M too if i remember. I always hoped he would grow into more of a pass rushing 3-tech DT in a 4 man front rather than a big end. regardless this loss hurts. We all thought he’d be one of the player s we rebuilt that DL on. Good luck to him, hopefully he doesn’t stay in the SEC but i bet he will.

I had high hopes for both Bryce Langford and Quincy Wiggins. Wiggins was a major recruiting win for BK when he first came on

That is disappointing. Didn't realize there had been a development time-table issue with him.

He’s a physical freak but always wondered why he couldn’t get on the field. Hope he decides to stay, but good luck to him!

After meeting with the coaches this week about their status. Processed. Good luck to the man.

Yeah, he just hasn't developed like we all hoped and now he's behind Womack and Howard.
