I was already certain that Surtain was coming, but with both Donte and Toliver leaving, you have to think he knows the spot is his if he can earn it. Greedy certainly did and I think he can too. Could be one of the best CB duos we have had in quite some time.

Once again....LSU is a place where players come to get ready for the NFL. It's no longer a place where players go to win championships.

Oh I know! Could be a championship coming near you for lsu if they don't stick their head in the ground like they did in the 4 losses for 2017 season. Could have easily had 4 extra wins. Damn jalen hurts sucks. It wasn't because of him why Alabama is 25 and 2 under jalen hurts. The title game showed that for sure how bad of a qb he is. Halen hurts is bout as equal as Jordan Jefferson was as a q.b. both can't make the throws past 20 yards in tight coverage

Some of you guys are nuts. Donte has all the tools and ability. The only thing he needs to work on is his gambler nature. He has a tendency to break on balls, trying to get the INT, when he should stay with his man to bat it away. Other than that, he has a phenomenal baseline for the NFL. They will get his instincts clicking right in the League. Good luck, Donte. Make Tiger Nation Proud!

I suspect he would have a hard time tackling even you. 175 lbs going to be hard on him in the nfl

I'm not sure of his grade, but Donte is ranked as a top 5 CB draft prospect.

Outside of the 15’ and 16’ draft classes we’ve had a lot of early entries. Had a lot of draftable guys come back for senior season in 2016

What kind of draft grade did he get? Yet another who should have come back next year. I do wish you the best Donte

Great Tiger, wish him well and the best of luck......BUT he was ineffective against great QB's, as well as big and tall receivers. Uhh, last I checked that is all the league has. He should have stayed and perfected his craft.

Couldn't catch a hot butter biscuit, typically got trucked by running backs. I wish him luck at the next level or Wendys whichever comes first.
