Bridgette Hogan/LSU Athletics
LSU cornerback Donte Jackson has announced that he will forgo his senior season and enter the 2018 NFL Draft.

Jackson, a junior from New Orleans, went public with his decision on Monday night via Twitter:

Jackson joins underclassmen Arden Key, Kevin Toliver, and Toby Weathersby who have announced they're leaving early for the NFL draft.

Other juniors that could declare for the draft include running back Derrius Guice, and offensive linemen Will Clapp and Garrett Brumfield.

You nailed it! Jackson never lived up to his potential, imo. Constantly got beat deep, and a poor tackler as well. He’s got speed, and if a team is willing to invest time in him, he could be a baller! I wish him luck and thanks for being a Tiger!

Great Tiger, wish him well and the best of luck......BUT he was ineffective against great QB's, as well as big and tall receivers. Uhh, last I checked that is all the league has. He should have stayed and perfected his craft.

Outside of the 15’ and 16’ draft classes we’ve had a lot of early entries. Had a lot of draftable guys come back for senior season in 2016
