Nick Saban loves winning more than almost anything. One of the things he loves more than winning is being the most powerful, and smartest, mofo in the room. He will never get that in Baton Rouge thanks to LSU's President and staff always wanting to feel important. But in Alabama, he gets that. He hates Gumps, always has. Why do you think he coaches, wins, and does not go out and celebrate with the fans. He hates them. lol

Just a stupid quote. Glad he’s our AD, though.

Mrs. Terry hates Gumps. $20 million per year gets him back.

The difference between Alleva and Woodward is that Alleva would not have been joking.

I agree with the sentiment, but how long has it been since we beat Alabama?

LSU peeps still trying to convince themselves that Saban made a mistake... and even more laughable to think that he actually regrets it

Know how I know you're an idiot that didn't watch the clip?

Lets see. He builds a NC program out of LSU, then jumps to the NFL's Dolphins and quits before his first contract is completed. I think that would qualify as a man who made a mistake. Anybody with any sense knows Saban would have won more NC's had he stayed at LSU rather than leaving. The ONLY reason he was able to get the recruits at bama is because of what he did at LSU. In all the seasons since the bear retired only once did anybody win a NC at bama before Saban got there. Why is that? Because nobody could recruit out the state like saban did. There isn't enough good HS players in bama to build a NC team. That's why every season there's only about 30 to 35 percent of the players on bama's team actually from bama. So yea, saban screwed up by leaving LSU and he knows it ans so does anybody with an IQ above 95. Which excludes about 85 percent of the population in alabama.

No one has to convince themselves of anything dum asz. Lord Saban has said on MANY occasions that he never should've left LSU for Miami & the NFL, that He was meant to be a CFB Head Coach & that the NFL just wasn't his thing. He's also made several comments about how much he & his family, espcly his wife loved BR & LSU and that they still have many great friends in BR & at LSU. So fuk off with the BAMA Nutt huggin.

People really should listen to the clip before commenting. Pretty obvious he was joking. Really like him as an AD.

I love it. I'd have liked for him to have thrown in a Saban "short" joke, for good measure. LOL

While a joke, he should stay in his lane. No one thinks LSU is a better job than Bama. Bama is the #1 all time program in college football history.

Loved it, and the higher IQ Skip was a great line. As a coach once said about saban, and i paraphrase (Spurrier) he ain't doing nothing great at bama, hell they've always won there. Enough said

Shit, Saban is doing things Bryant could never do.

Yeah the early 2000’s were great for Alabama. All that winning they did was incredible. Just proves how anybody can do it

That was just a fun lighthearted comment. I'm sure Skip loved it and I'm glad Woodward is choosing a good mentor.
