Former LSU head coach Les Miles has reportedly been working on assembling a staff for a new coaching job in 2017, according to ESPN's Brett McMurphy.
quote:

Former LSU Tigers coach Les Miles has been working on putting together a staff, including reviewing possible offensive and defensive coordinators, as he remains committed to returning to coaching in 2017, a source told ESPN on Thursday.

Miles was fired Sept. 25, four games into his 12th season at LSU, where he was 114-34, won a national title, two SEC championships and 10 or more games in his 11 full seasons.

Sources said Miles and his representatives have already been contacted about coaching in 2017. Miles told ESPN on Thursday that he would not discuss any specific job opportunities, either college or NFL.

I guess dgnx6 believes everything he reads.

""Since getting fired at LSU, Les has really had an epiphany on how he needs to open up offensively at his next stop," an industry source said.

Yea, OK.

Completely agree. Whoever hires him will get dragged down for a few years and then he'll get fired again. He'll never find a team with a better talent pool in their own back yard then LSU. And I don't see him dipping into that pool competing with both LSU and Saban. Taking another HC job will expose him as the lousy coach he really is. I have said for years that LSU survived on talent during his tenure. His coaching decisions is what cost LSU MULTIPLE titles. At his new gig, without that talent, he'll field a .500 team at best. God help the AD that hires him. That AD may be joining him in the unemployment line a few years from now.

Let's see. Les Miles is going to put his plan in action somewhere else without all the talent LSU provided. Yeah, well, good luck with that. Lol.

If he is not going to discuss any opportunities then why leak it out that he is "assembling a staff"?

Is this some veiled threat that he may be talking to some of LSU's staff?

Just stupid.

Les Miles:

Resume:

As a Michigan lineman grew as a coach to love a hated offensive tendency to run backs to the left, to the right and up the gut especially against Alabama until the LSU fans ran him out of Death Valley....

Awarded 4 Pinocchios for saying at end of 2015 season, ' I'm going to travel to Oklahoma State and North Carolina in off season to study their prolific passing games and bring CHANGE to Tigers offense'.....

Awarded 4 Pinocchios for alledging he is LSU and bleeds purple and gold forever but has his house up for sale and looking for a ghost staff within 5 weeks of being fired.......

Noted for inviting Michigan planes to visit BR airport to prove he was a Wanted Man....

Never learned to clap properly qduring his childhood and unfortunately developed an addiction for chlorophyll....

Good Luck Coach Miles but you will never find grass as sweet as is in Death Valley
