It took a lot of contemplating and a little over five minutes for Les Miles to finally reveal his pick for the Tigers upcoming game vs. Alabama on Saturday but in the end, the former LSU coach picked the Crimson Tide to win.

Miles revealed the pick on the latest episode of his "Les Is More" podcast. Per The Advocate:
quote:

LSU is heading into a game as the largest underdog it's been since the mid-90s, and its former coach doesn't expect a shocker this week.

Former Tigers coach Les Miles begrudgingly picked Alabama in this week's rivalry match in Tuscaloosa.

"It's painful. Understand we love LSU. LSU is a spectacular place ...," Miles said on his Les is More podcast. "As much as I hate to admit it. If I had to bet the house, I'd have to bet on Alabama."

If the rain on the grass forges teamwork and a quality commitment, the want can be strong. This team's horses chocked the oat bucket full with oats of the quality variety. The stronger of the two involved can uncomplicatedly smooch the infantile child.

I don't think anyone can argue Alabama is the better team. With that said, if we play our best game of the year, win the turnover battle, we will have an opportunity to win. If I were betting straight up, I would pick Bama so I don't see anything wrong with this.

Can’t call the man out for making the logical choice. If he’s not with the program anymore, he’s not obligated to only spout LSU love. And I know it’s not a pick he wanted to make. I give him credit for sticking it out and picking LSU against UF and Auburn when the other pundits didn’t give us a chance. I will never question Les Miles’ commitment to the program. The man did a lot for the program.
