The Southeastern Conference has fined Kentucky $500,000 after Wildcats fans stormed the field at Kroger Field following their 35-34 upset win over No. 10 LSU.

The fine was issued for violating the SEC's policy regarding fan access to the playing field and will be paid directly to LSU.

Fans poured onto the field after Kentucky converted a game-winning two-point conversion in overtime, handing Lane Kiffin and the Tigers their second loss of the season.

The victory was Kentucky's first home win over a top-10 opponent since 2021 and its second top-10 victory this season under first-year head coach Will Stein.

ESPN must withhold monies that they owe teams during the season so that they can pay these ridiculous fines. Ain't nobody at Kentucky writing a check today, I wouldn't think.

That's the gayest shite ever. LSU should give the money back to Kentucky.
