Derick E. Hingle-USA TODAY Sports
Linebacker Jabril Cox spoke to the media this week and evaluated some of the defensive struggles this season and talked about how the Tigers need to get back to the LSU standard.

Cox said that issues are not the scheme or how defensive coordinator Bo Pelini is giving it to the players. He added that they have simplified things and that the extra week off has helped the younger players “tremendously.”

He’s in charge. Anything that happens is his responsibility.

Clark stand here and tackle anyone that comes in this box. Clark why are you running out there. The running back is going up the middle. How is that on Pelini?

Coaches can set the players up for success and the players not step up. There's also the fact that the team is super young learning a new defense while covid 19 both distracts AND takes time away from learning.

think it's coincidence the entire sec can't play defense this year?

"#LSU is going with some simpler things defensively to not confuse the defense pre-snap," Yep, that's on Pelini.

Pelini and da rona. NO spring. No summer. No film study. No organized workouts.

It's funny that people in these comments still after the coach, even after the player is saying we aren't giving 100%. I see why people hate us as fans. Mf's complain 3 games into the season talking about firing a coach.

Who/what are you gonna blame or who/what are you going to give credit to if they start playing well?

Well, Gonestupid21 I guess THEY'LL blame Edward cause, this is the D he wanted AND, he stated several times in the off season, "the D is way ahead of and better than what Aranda was producing". IF they can hold the cocks under 14, I'll give credit to the "dumbing down of the D" does that suit you?
