During Wednesday's media session, head coach Ed Orgeron revealed that if the Tigers had to play today, sophomore defensive back Kary Vincent Jr. would start at cornerback opposite of Greedy Williams.

Vincent appeared in 11 games a true freshman last season with 3 starts. He recorded 9 total tackles and got his first career interception vs. Chattanooga.

Vincent has the right attitude and confidence level paired with his talents. The kid is a playmaker.

He will be fine there but I would have hoped that we had a good enough corner to play opposite of Greedy so that he could play nickel.

Vincent has an absolute ton of talent. I'm cool with this.

He was a 4.38 kid in high school. I bet he is a little quicker now, with the S&C program.
