Former LSU quarterback Joe Burrow got his first NFL win with the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday with a 33-25 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The first-round draft pick passed for 300 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception and received the game ball after the win.

After the game, Burrow said the game ball is not going into any trophy case...

Per PFT.com:
quote:

“It was a really good football, so I just threw it right back in with the other game balls so we don’t lose it,” Burrow told PFT by phone after the 33-25 win over Jacksonville.

“[W]e’re gonna use it for the game next week,” Burrow added. “You only get so may. You’ve got to keep them when you can.”

It would have been a match made in heaven if Joe and Clyde could have ended up on the same team.

I just want to see the Ohio teams switch QB's. Browns have 500% the talent and Burrow kept the Bengals with-in 1 score. Browns + Burrow is a SuperBowl contender today.

Guy just gets it he is gonna be the reason I continue to follow some NFL. Fun to watch grow and become a leader of the game. He is the type of guy that can save this league as others realize this is how players should act and lead other men.
