LSU reporter Glenn Guilbeau of Gannett Louisiana papers/USA Today tweeted out the following updates regarding Drake Davis who was arrested over the weekend on battery charges.

Several hours after the news broke of Davis' arrest on Saturday, it was reported that the victim wanted to retract the allegations of battery. Here's the latest:

If these allegations are true he should stay in jail for a while. Sadly, if they are not true, in today's environment, he is forever labeled and has already been convicted in the court of public opinion. His life will never be the same.
