Why didn't O tell the truth about Linehan being a useless bum so far?

This year is a throwaway year for me. Not just LSU but for most everyone else. Even some on the team and it shows. No spring practice to install. No experience practicing but for 3 weeks. New kids everywhere. Terrible depth. None of this is surprising to me.

Yes, if LSU was 3-0 you wouldn't care at all... Throw away year and all... LOL

It’s not surprising to you how bad LSU looks? lol. Keep on lying to yourself that it’s a “ “throwaway year” I’m sure you’d be singing the same tune if LSU looked dominant

well if running up the middle does not work--run up the middle twice should work--les miles. But les probably would have done it 4 times.

Saw a good 4 word description of our Tigers - "from champs to chumps". I've been watching the tigers play for a long time and I never remember a team struggle so hard to gain 50 yards rushing. Too bad we can't schedule some teams we can beat like South Alabama, Middle Tennessee, Troy?, or Rice. Time to unload some baggage from the sinking ship - both line coaches and Bo would be a good start.

Said the same this 2 weeks ago after the MSU game. We go from a 15-0 season to "We need to simplify things".

That was a bunch of horse shite quotes I just read. You don't need to simplify the O, the D is just shite. Florida will score at least 60 on LSU.

Yeah just leave everything the same and try again against Florida right?

Alright GoneDumbass. Last time Ed simplified things, Troy beat LSU's ass.

No you’re absolutely brilliant and right. Keep what we have been doing because O lost to Troy when he simplified things! I’d rather not see guys have no clue what they are doing and leave people wide open for touchdowns thinking someone else had them covered.

Did he finally admit he made a mistake with Bo.

Sucks to be on top and fall like this. I just think the times have past Bo Pelini up. These are 2 and 3 star athletes against our 4 and 5 stars getting gashed on defense. That's coaching period

how about giving Pelini some time.... One covid year.

Slicc3333- How come Missouri HC was able to put together a good offense with what he was given late last year? Drinkwitz should be given credit for installing a good offense that struggled last year. Also he was only been a HC for little over one year. One at Appalachian State and 3 games this year.

truelefty -- YOU HAVE it wrong. LSU was not prepared is not the same as MissS or Mizzes being great--all teams in SEC are good. I saw both opposing teams using a lot of miss-direction to confuse a young team. A young defensive team not trained/prepared/able to read/tackle/know their assignments but same time show spurts of athleticism.

Just win is right, should be 2-1, as *hitty as the defense was ALL game we could have had an ugly win if we could just get one yard. But we didn't, i couldn't care less what changes O comes up with, just don't do the same *hit we did the last 3 games. Just Win baby

Look I understand that LSU is a spread offense but when you’re at the 1 yard line why is it so difficult to start in a spread then quickly call a play at the line, bring all your blockers in at the same time running up to the center and fake the call, get the defense off balance, quickly hike the ball and either sneak it in or make a quick throw to someone who never gets the ball and is used as a blocker to get it in? That would have been a great try on first down!!! Next try would have been the sweep option if the first one didn’t work. Is we still don’t make it I’d run back to the LOS just like on 1st down, fake what we did the first time and throw or run depending on what the fake had to be. If we still don’t make it, I’m throwing that ball up to Marshall or Gilbert. Not a fast bullet pass but a nice arching throw over everyone, giving my great WRs room to make a play on the ball in the air. It’s not that difficult imo. I agree with O to an extent. From one 20 yard line to the other 20 LSU really doesn’t need to be all that complicated on offense or defense but when they get inside the 20, they need to turn into a completely different animal. Be aggressive and creative AF on offense and on defense be aware, look for TO’s, tackle immediately, get to the ball carrier and fight like hell to get stops. Especially on 3rd down for both sides, 3rd down has sucked badly. I’m not sure if LSU isn’t last or near last in the country on 3rd down on both sides of the ball. That has to change!!! Coach O this needs to be the focus for the rest of the year. What ever you need to do to get this done. RZ D, Tackling, catching, sacks/pressure, gap sound, creative play calling in RZ, 3rd down play on both sides and TOs. If we can improve in all these areas, even if it’s a marginal improvement in all areas, LSU will win most of its remaining games if not all. Figure this out!! Figure it out and make sure the work is put in to perfect it. We have to do this to salvage this season. Have to!! No choice!
