Harold Perkins Named National Defensive Player Of The Week

LSU freshman linebacker Harold Perkins was named the Walter Camp Football Foundation’s Defensive Player of the Week for Week 11 after his dominant performance vs. Arkansas on Satuday. Per WalterCamp.org:

Freshman, Linebacker, Cypress, TX/Cy Park HS

Harold Perkins Jr., was a dominant force in 10th-ranked LSU’s 13-10 victory against Arkansas, recording eight tackles, four for loss, four quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles, one pass break up and a quarterback hurry. Perkins clinched the victory with a forced fumble with 1:13 to go. With the win, LSU improved to 8-2 and clinched a berth in the 2022 SEC Championship Game.

Notes: Harold Perkins Jr. is the 12th LSU player to earn Walter Camp National Player of Week honors since 2004), and the first since running back Tyrion Davis-Price (October 17, 2021).

They’re trying their best to get him out of BR as quickly as they can. They’re trying to talk it into existence. They’re not ready for 2 more years of kP40 and neither is my body. With the studs we have to go along with these next couple of recruiting classes, I see KP40 leaving with at least 2 CFP titles and then right into the #1 draft pick.
