Fox Sports College Football analyst Joel Klatt previewed the No. 5 LSU Tigers vs. No. 8 Florida State Seminoles matchup on his show this week.

Klatt said he expects this game to "go a long way in the CFP" discussion, and is picking the Tigers to win. Per SDS:
quote:

“This is going to set the tone between the eventual ACC champion and the eventual SEC West champion,” Klatt said. “Both of these teams will vie for those titles, and this game will tell us everything we need to know when it comes down to a debate.”

“This is a quarterback that I believe in, a coach that I believe in, and I like LSU in this game,” Klatt said. “They’re favored by 2.5, they should be favored, they cover that and they beat FSU in the opening week.”

I was hoping Klatt picked FSU, because usually his picks are the kiss of death, but as Tom Petty was famously said, "Even the losers get lucky sometimes"

Maybe Klatt will come around for good after this

Great. That means LSU loses. I wish he had picked Florida State. Klatt sucks.
