For any Coach that wants to come to LSU and leave the coed’s alone…..LSU is a great place to Coach.

Mike Price was run out of Alabama before coaching a game due to his off the field actions. The downfall of Orgeron was his own doing for similar reasons.

Considering the buy out money that O is walking out the door with I don't see how this turned out poorly for him. He would have never earned this anywhere else imo.

A Talking Head on the Big Ten focused network downgrades one of the top SEC jobs. I wouldn't expect anything else.

Joel Klatt once again proves that he is an idiot.

The last 2 who were fired had more off the field issues than on the field.

If you get any of your advice from people like Klatt, you are fricked.

Best thing to ever happen to him was when Texas knocked him unconscious in the Big 12 Title game.

Joel “big hole” Klatt is a talentless hack. His takes suck and all he does during a broadcast is repeat player names over and over again with different inflections. He’s as shitty as Danny Kanell with his takes and annoying qualities.

O sure was happy with that buyout money

Ignorant thinking. Both had issues off the field and let little head do the thinking. Shut up and stay in your kane

Both? More like all 3 were enjoying the finer specimens of the birthing folks in BR.

Who is Joel Klatt and why does anything he says matter? Never heard of him.

Run out of town? Does he say why? Maybe because Miles and O seem to have left the locker room toxic. Funny no mention of that.

He doesn't know any of that....potential candidates don't either. They know the same thing he knows....that LSU has fired 2 coaches that won national title at LSU within the last 7-8 years.

Now most coaches will still take the call because LSU is a great job, and I'm pretty sure that Woodward will be able to explain the situations as you suggest above, but his reporting isn't necessarily wrong he's just going by what he knows/sees.

Allowing LSU to slowly decay and lose national contention is what lead to Miles and O being shown the door. It was the same stubbornness for both - Miles liked to run into the same brick wall the same way and we found out later about his shady actions behind the scenes. O was too fixated on 2019 instead of treating every season differently, and this doesn’t even mention his off the field issues. Couldn’t get past it.

Who?

Well if you didn’t go chasing around college girls around campus things might have turned out differently for the other two coaches.

None would have been fired if they complied with Title IX and didn't start acting like an emperor. Read what former players said after the 2019 season ended and preparations started for 2020.

This is such an obtuse take from someone that does not cover the program and the issues at hand. This is also a big time BIGXII homer trying to get a jab in on big brother.

Is it better to get run out of another school and NOT win a championship?

How many head coaches leave their job on good terms?? Or even their own terms?

Answer: not many.
