Travis Daniels and Corey Webster in the defensive backfield for the SECCG and The NCG for the '03 season was something to truly behold. They capped off the back end of a truly semi-NFL defense. Those guys were mean.

Retiring Stovalls number? Great Tiger, but I’m not really a fan of retiring college jerseys. Skyler was one of my all time favs. Daniels was always quietly an awesome corner.

Skylar was a tweener he was built like a rb. But had decent hands and was a great returner. If he was a elite route runner he would have made a more impact in the NFL

iirc he got a high ankle sprain and always seemed slower after that. Still a fantastic college player.

Skyler's skillset was ahead of his time. He was a real dynamic player that didn't translate to the NFL at his time. Had he played in today's NFL he would have been a star!

I hadn't heard of Dennis Gaubatz. He played with the late Bubba Smith in the 1969 Super Bowl.

I no he was amazing really lived him. He was key to teams we had and really made us dynamic, i thought he was gunna take the NFL by storm and was a steal in the draft it just never translated. Shame I think he would have been a multi millionaire in today's nfl game.
