Mulitple sources are reporting that former Tulane quarterback Tanner Lee from New Orleans, LA (Jesuit) will visit LSU this weekend.

Lee would have to sit out the 2016 season, but would be eligible in 2017. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Lee, a Jesuit High product, currently does not hold an offer from LSU. Lee just completed his redshirt sophomore season, and he must sit out 2016, as part of NCAA transfer rules, if he were to attend another FBS school. That would leave him with one season of eligibility – 2017.

I know one thing and that is a Jesuit QB may have an IQ(think ex-LSU OB Pat Screen) to read defenses, memorize play books and thus play a complex, fast attack pro QB offense i.e Ole Miss did it two years in a row with a similar attack.

Why not just play one more year at Tulane, graduate, then take advantage of the graduate school transfer loophole that's become so popular?

I was re-watching the Texas Bowl last night with my son and noticing how impressive the Texas Tech QB was, so athletic and able to make all of the throws. My son said just think how good LSU could be if we ever had a QB like that???

Tanner Lee is a legit QB that played behind an abhorrent line. With the talent around him at LSU, he would thrive.

We don't need a one year boy wonder!! We need to stick with one qb and train him the correct way.

When you have QBS that can't hit a 10' X 10' window with 1' Sq ft panes, you look for one that will ask which pane do you want the ball to break...
