After hearing the news that three-star dual-threat quarterback Lindsey Scott has committed to the Tigers for the class of 2016, former LSU signal-caller Jarrett Lee took to Twitter to congratulate Scott on his decision.

Pretty cool gesture by Lee who normally doesn't say too much on Twitter.

Because Lee looked like shite in the Bama game and would've lost it.

@ GrayTiger, oh there is animosity there! trust me! I know the father well and have spoken to Jarrett multiple times... He loves LSU to core but they are still dumbfounded with why Miles chose to start Jefferson after the Bama Game. Our offense took a nose dive after that. With Lee its was balanced and efficient... Greatest mistake in Miles coaching history.

He's a humble Texan, just show up and go to work. Maybe the worst decision by CLM not playing Lee in NC, after Jefferson and the game plan if you can call it that totally sucked.

J. Lee is nothing but class. He lead the greatest LSU team of all time when it could have crumbled. He is one of my all time favorite Tigers simply by the way he handled his last year wearing the purple and gold.

It is really interesting that a group of fan boys complain about how Miles supposedly treated Lee but the guy himself doesn't seem to have that problem. Maybe just maybe he knows more than they do? Maybe they are wrong? Ya think?

Does he really mean it? Or is there an undertone?

One of my all time Tiger favorites that fans treated like shite along with his head coach. JL#12.

Ever since Leslie told him to bend over and take it after the Alabama game, I've lost all respect for that Yankee!

guy doesn't get enough credit for how good he was until the Alabama game. being replaced was warranted. but losing the starting job was a shitty move move on miles' part. but it was to be expected. miles couldn't upset the Jefferson's. had to get little brother here.

What a classy guy. Kudos to him. I would have loved to see him play against Bama in the NC game, instead of forever being resigned to thinking..."What if?"
