Former LSU EDGE Jaxon Howard Commits To Big Ten School

Former LSU edge rusher Jaxon Howard announced his commitment to his Minnesota on Friday.

The 6-4, 241-pounder from Crystal, Minn. (Robbinsdale Cooper High School), was a former four-star prospect and the No. 1 rated player in Minnesota for the class of 2023.

Howard played in five games last season on special teams and as a backup at the edge, recording two tackles and one quarterback hurry. He has been playing behind Bradyn Swinson and Dashawn Womack during spring practice.

LSU has brought transfers back home for the last couple of years now. Seems hypocritical to complain about a guy moving back home when he was 3rd string here and could be a day one starter at Minnesota.

It was only because of the guys that are in front of him. In the old days, he would have stayed until he would be able to play as a redshirt sophomore or junior.
