LSU interim coach Ed Orgeron will be paid a lump sum of $675,000 for his seven games as LSU's interim coach, according to documents in the LSU Board Of Supervisors agenda for its December meeting.

Orgeron was scheduled to make $600,000 as defensive line coach but took over as head coach when Les Miles was fired Sept. 25. He went 5-2 during the two months with losses to Florida and Alabama, the teams playing in Saturday's SEC Championship Game.

Orgeron has reportedly agreed to a five-year, 3.5 million contract as new head coach.
