During Thursday's media session, head coach Ed Orgeron said that if he had to call a player "elite" based on their winter workouts in the "Fourth Quarter" conditioning program it would be backup quarterback Myles Brennan.

Brennan, a slender sophomore from Long Beach, Miss., has added 10lbs of weight and was very vocal as a leader during the workouts, according to Orgeron. Per The Advocate:
quote:

Orgeron said the Mississippi native added around 10 pounds to his 6-foot-5, 183-pound listed frame, while establishing himself as a leader in the "Fourth Quarter Program" under strength coach Tommy Moffitt.

"I saw something in the fourth quarter from Myles," Orgeron said ?Thursday evening, following the first practice of spring football. "He was out there calling the team out, coming in, working on his own, studying film. I want to see him act like and work like the championship quarterback that I know he can (be), and he's done that."

If that was going to happen it would've when Narcisse and McMillan transferred. I think Myles Brennan knew he wasn't ready that's why he didn't transfer and he stuck with the program. And he also knows once QB Joe Burrow enters the NFL Draft he is going to be the leader of the team as a RS Junior and hopefully he will be well over 200 lbs when it's his time. GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!PURPLEREIGN?????????

I don't think so. I'm guessing he will see a lot of mop-up duty this season. Which hopefully gets him ready for next season.

Nah, he's set if he puts in the work, adds 10 more lbs, and stays frosty.

I feel like we get the same report of him gaining weight every year. I'll believe it when I see it.

10 pounds is not enough. I can gain or lose that in a week. He needs to be at 215 minimum.
