During his Monday press conference, Ed Orgeron said that tight end Arik Gilbert and wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. should be good to go on Saturday vs. South Carolina.

Both players were "limited" last week during practice, which Orgeron revealed on his radio show last Wednesday.
quote:

Q. You mentioned also last week that Terrace and Arik were a little questionable as well. Any update on those guys?

ED ORGERON: Yeah, I think both of them will be available. I talked to Jack today. Both of them are going to practice today. They should be fine.

Did he say if the defense would show up? That’s the million dollar question?

I'm not so sure. Muschamp is a hit or miss coach. He's not consistent and LSU has superior athletes at most positions. I look for our DBs to come to play the rest of the year. Our Freshman LBs will take over staring this week and wreck shite the rest of the year. These FR QBs are used to running wide open offenses so LSU's system should make their transition easier. @sportjunnkie, I read a lot of comments about LSU having superior athletes. I beg to differ, we lost most of our starters, several key players opted out due to COVID, not to mention the 3-6 players that transferred (marcel brooks etc....) and everyone on the site was thinking that they had transferred because they wouldn’t start, in addition to all the talent that Ogeron heavily recruited who decided to play for other teams. I believe that we have a lac of talent and a lack of good coaches therefore we sate shitty and will be shitty for this season and next to say the least.
