LSU head coach Ed Orgeron was asked Monday during his weekly press conference about how the team has reacted to the Devin White situation and his absence for the first half of the Alabama game on Saturday?
quote:

Q. A guy like Devin White who has done everything you asked him to do, are you concerned somebody could look on the outside and try to label him a dirty player?

ED ORGERON: No, no way. No way. No way. Devin is one of the best young men I know. After you look at that hit, it wasn't dirty. It was not. I don't worry about it at all.

Q. How has the team responded?

ED ORGERON: Great. Everybody has got to pick it up, starting with me. Everybody knows that. This team plays well when they are mad. I coach better when I'm mad. I like it. That's good. We need to be that way.

Devin White being out for sneezing on someone, 14.5 point underdog AT NIGHT IN TIGER STADIUM as number 4 team in the country, losing to Alabama 7 times in a row, being given no chance to win this game by the media. We coming.

Devin being suspended may be the worse thing for Bama. These guys are going to be pissed.

As much as I hate the call that caused the suspension. Maybe this is the urge to get the less played LBs to have their "time to shine" for 30 mins.

I like that the team is mad....However, it needs to be controlled madness or those sensitive Refs will be extra protective of the poor little Gumps.

Emotion burns off pretty quick. The game settles in and scheme/talent takes over. We’ve got a great chance at winning, but it won’t be because we were more mad than they were.

Well by that time, the dip in intensity will be offset by White's return.

I hope they play angry. They be more aggressive and make lots of mistakes.
