You go down, you sit 4 plays. If it’s truly medical, then 4 plays isn’t an issue. If it is a fake injury, then sitting 4 plays could be a deterrent imho.

I get the sentiment but what happens when someone gets the wind knocked out of them and they’re fine to come back in a play or 2? Would they have to sit out the 4 plays too? This one is gonna be hard to enforce.

Make it for the rest of the possession.

I agree with you fan....but i would just teach my kids to make it to the sidelines if your breath is knocked out. that sux but if they want to not sit out for 4 plays, then they will figure it out

need a penalty box like hockey. get caught faking, team plays without that position for 2 1/2 minutes

Make it an unsportsmanlike penalty. 15 yds and 1st down.

Very hard to prove fake vs real for an injury. Make the injured player sit the remainder of the possession. You’ll see guys dragging themselves off the field rather than create a stoppage.

When a play is over and a player is up and fine and then looks over to the bench and then falls over, something needs to be done to stop that by penalizing that team. That is pretty obvious. . . . . .

You can't always determine if a player is hurt or faking. The simple fix is that if a player goes down and stops the clock he must remain out for the rest of the series.

The penalty needs to be brought DURING THE GAME. Look at all camera angles. Loss of down, 15 yd penalty and forfeit 2 timeouts if you're caught.

Also add in a 10-year bowl/playoff ban and I’ll sign on.

The last thing we need is the games to extended even further for another review. They've already stretched the games to over 4 hours.
