Brandon Harris To Undergo Sports Hernia Surgery

LSU sophomore quarterback Brandon Harris is scheduled to have sports hernia surgery on Monday, according to multiple sources.
Harris suffered the injury during the Tigers' match-up against Alabama on Nov. 7th and will be out 6-8 weeks with rehabilitation. He is expected to be ready for start of spring practice. Per The Shreveport Times:

quote:Harris passed for 2158 yards, 13 touchdown and six interceptions in 2015. He also added 226 yards on the ground and four rushing touchdowns.
Harris said in a phone interview Sunday with Gannett Louisiana that he will be out for six-to-eight weeks and back in time for spring football.
“It’s something minor, and I have to go get it taken care of now that the season is over,” Harris said. “It’s nothing serious, but I’ve had it for a long time. It’s been nagging at me for a while. So, this is the perfect time to take care of it. It’s a minor procedure.”
