LSU sophomore quarterback Brandon Harris is scheduled to have sports hernia surgery on Monday, according to multiple sources.

Harris suffered the injury during the Tigers' match-up against Alabama on Nov. 7th and will be out 6-8 weeks with rehabilitation. He is expected to be ready for start of spring practice. Per The Shreveport Times:

Harris said in a phone interview Sunday with Gannett Louisiana that he will be out for six-to-eight weeks and back in time for spring football.

“It’s something minor, and I have to go get it taken care of now that the season is over,” Harris said. “It’s nothing serious, but I’ve had it for a long time. It’s been nagging at me for a while. So, this is the perfect time to take care of it. It’s a minor procedure.”
Harris passed for 2158 yards, 13 touchdown and six interceptions in 2015. He also added 226 yards on the ground and four rushing touchdowns.

Five hours for a freaking hernia surgery? That's outlandish! Give me a call LSU, that procedure should be no more than an hour and I'll give you the home town discount!

"Oh so this is the excuse. Championship bound next year....."

Usually when i struggle at something the first thing I like to do is fake a injury that involves me getting put under for five hours and recovering from surgery.

Medical bills are nothing compared to the necessity for an excuse that lives up to purpleleaf's expectations.

I've had a sports hernia, it's a giant pain in the ass. Takes away your explosiveness and just difficult to move around in general.
