Former LSU star Booger McFarland was on ESPN's NFL Live this week and predicted that quarterback Joe Burrow will start in 16 games during his rookie season with the Bengals. Per 247Sports:
quote:

“Joe, freaking, Burrow will make 16 starts," McFarland said. "They didn’t draft him No. 1 overall to sit him on the bench. Joe Burrow is going to get into this offense. Zac Taylor wants to use his athleticism, his movement skills.

"More importantly than anything, you have to be able to get on the job to learn the job. … Peyton Manning stunk his rookie year. But that stinking turned him into a surefire Hall of Famer because he understood what he could do, what he couldn’t do and, more than anything, he gained the valuable experience of playing. There’s nothing that can take away from learning on the job and having that experience. I bet Joe Burrow plays 16 games.”

I haven't watched professional sports in over a decade - except for an occasional NFL playoff game or a World Series game or two. I had planned to follow Burrow's games as best I could this year - but screw the NFL and I won't even bother to pay homage to Burrow until the NFL finds its senses about this political bull shite - pains my ass, but not another second of my time or whatever benefit they get from an additional 'viewer' tuned to their broadcast. Same may well happen for college sports - if they begin this "bend the knee" idiocy I say F.U. forever to big time sports = will not tolerated orchestrated bull shite.

“Good luck in your close minded & heart life you won't missed” - CB58 expresses his opinion about the NFLs PR PC crisis BUT you dont agree with him so obviously that makes HIM “Close Minded” & “Hateful“ (or whatever u meant by heart life) & not even worth being missed by anyone! You sure CB58’s the one thats “Close Minded” Chief?

This is always the tricky part with a rookie QB, some have took their lumps and went on to greatness(Manning), while others have lost confidence and never or took years to get on the right track. Ruined Tim Couch's career and it took Testaverde years to rebuild his career and become a star. Others like Aaron Rogers benefited from sitting on the bench and was totally prepared when he got the starting job.

I could be wrong, but I don’t know if you can break Burrows confidence.
