Athlon Sports recently ranked all 130 FBS quarterbacks, prior to Spring Practice and pegged LSU passer Danny Etling at No. 63. Here is what they had to say.
quote:

63. Danny Etling, LSU
New offensive coordinator Matt Canada is tasked with improving LSU’s passing attack. Etling is expected to hold off a group of young quarterbacks for the starting job, and his overall experience should make a quick transition for the new offense. The Tigers have plenty of room to grow their passing game, but Etling helped this group show some punch late in the 2016 season.
Here is Athlon's Top 10:

1. Lamar Jackson, Louisville
2. Sam Darnold, USC
3. Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma
4. J.T. Barrett, Ohio State
5. Jake Browning, Washington
6. Quinton Flowers, USF
7. Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma State
8. Luke Falk, Washington State
9. Trace McSorley, Penn State
10. Josh Rosen, UCLA

Etling will soon prove this list to be shi#. I don't give a darn what kind of numbers these QBs put up during the year against others, let's see if they are better than Etling when playing LSU? That's when it counts!! L Jackson sure as hell knows what I'm talking about! I don't get how LSU can't get QBs as well, have great TBs, OL, TEs, WRs, all we need is that great QB to get it to them. That all changed now with Canada. QBs around the country I want y'all to pay attention to how well LSU does with nothing at QB but still manages to win big games. Why the hell wouldn't you want to join this team and make it that much better? Les and Cam are gone, time to come knocking guys! It's on down in BR!

been saying that in college game (nowadays), Championship rest as much on the leg, as it does the arm.

In college, yes. But not so much in the NFL.

63. Danny Etling, LSU - How has LSU managed for 20 years to not have a top notch QB ? I realize they/we are a running school but look at all of the receivers in the NFL.

They have Tennessee,Air Force,Hawaii & about 10-15 QBs who never even played ranked higher than Danny. This is worse than BSPN!
