Former Cincinnati quarterback Andy Dalton was released by the Bengals last week and signed with the Dallas Cowboys just a few days later.

During his transition to his new team, he shared his advice for Joe Burrow as he takes over the reins in Cincinnati. Per Bengals.com:
quote:

He calmly inherited the Bengals from an overall No. 1 pick and leaves them in a better place for another overall No. 1 pick. He even had a word of advice Friday for Joe Burrow as Burrow takes Dalton's Bengals much like Dalton took Carson Palmer's team.

No one knows when the season is going to start.

"Just learn everything as quickly as you can, that's the best piece of advice," Dalton offered from Dallas. "And worry about what you can control."

Advice from Dalton should have been "Don't go belly up in all your playoff games!"

his advise should be "take solace in the tons of money that the Bengals will give you over the years. It will help with all the losing you are going to experience with this shite franchise."

You could have put Tom Brady there with that supporting cast and got the same results. That falls on management and coaching , you can’t put that all on Andy

Throw the football to the open receiver as much as possible. If the scoreboard says the other team has more points than you, try to find more open receivers until you reach the parts of the field that have other colors in them other than green.

Cincinnatti and Cleveland are both tough places to make a living as an NFL QB. Cleveland more than Cincy but it seems like they're both always getting top QB picks and can't get much going.
