Four-star prospects Devonta Jason and Corione Harris from Landry-Walker in New Orleans, La both announced over the weekend that they have decommitted from LSU. Per NOLA.com:
quote:

Jason, a 6-foot-2, 190-pound wide receiver stated that he just "wants to see other schools" and that he committed too early and wants to "enjoy my recruiting process."

Harris, a 6-foot, 165-pound cornerback, has not given a statement, but the two teammates are also best friends, so it's not a surprise they made their decision together.
These recent decommitments leaves LSU with just 3 commits for the class of 2018.

They'll be back as long as LSU is still stacked and their positions are not filled by more elite players.

Racism is still so real. So many people in denial. Why don't we keep posting these kind of idiotic comments like Womski and few others so our players could see it so half the team could walk. Keep your racism to yourself. No place for it here. Thanks.

You are a card carrying member of the victim mentality always looking to play the race card when it obviously doesn't exist. You sir, are the problem with everything wrong with the victim crowd. Now, go away and feel sorry for yourself somewhere else. Geaux Tigers!

RILEY TIME, no he was not joking. Why don't you take the time to read his other posts? Then you will understand this guy has a very liberal agenda and a strange outlook on life in general. What is going on in BR is not a joking matter and in fact is receiving slanted reports based on a partial video. No one seems to get the fact that cops were calledcas as a result of Alton Sterling pulling a gun on a homeless guy in the 1st place. Then when he was approached by Police he resisted and was Tased yet still resisted. Then he was taken down and still wantedto resist. What kind of a moron resists and confronts officers while catrying a concealed weapon? Why can't people just comply with the officer's request? They don't know you. Give them the opportunity to understand a situation. However, at this point we just need to allow the system do its' job. Running as round BR and blocking traffic serves no purpose whatsoever.

Like I care whether or not a kid going INTO his junior year of High School is going to do. I've seen quite a few kids who went int their senior year as a 4 star and ended it barely a three star. Personally think it is stupid for college football, et al to fret over 16 year olds who have not started their junior year of high school.

Uh, ok. I am not concerned over "commitments" for 2018 when 2017's class is only half full. Those type of commitments are basicly worthless anyway. In all fairness, these kids really should take their visits and enjoy recruiting anyway. They will probably end up at LSU in the end.

People should have learned that the word commitment means nothing to these 17,18 year old boys

I never understood why players commit so early.
user avatar
Because they want attention. Then when the attention drops off and they see other guys getting it, they decommit so they can feel the love again.
