Dylan is blazing a trail. Don't hate, but encourage. He is different. Let him be who he wants.

There are some really shitty people in this thread. 17 year old kid made a decision he thinks is good for his future, presumably with the support of his family, and people in here are deriding him for it. He will grow as a person far more away from home than he would staying at U High. This isn't about you, this about him, and you grown arse men need to figure it the frick out. He owes all of nothing to you.

Good luck to him. Hope he comes back to play for the P&G.

Went from level headed to severly confused over the last year. Wow. I really thought his family had him grounded also. Seemed so mature to make the LSU decision so early with so much conviction. Now he's just lost.

I think that his reasoning is that it will make him a better player. He will get top coaching and he will play against tougher competition than what he's used to.

Looking for a positive thought...maybe he can be a recruiter for the hometown tigers while @ IMG??? Take in another haul next year.

Word is that U High doesn't allow early enrollment into a university. That's his reasoning for going to IMG.

This kid is just so full of himself. To be honest. I really dont give a crap where this kid goes. He has already forgotten his roots. I dont understand what IMG can possibly do for this kid either academicly or athleticly. He is demonstrating that he is turning his back on his team mates for whatever personal benefit he thinks he gains from going to some
school he has absolutely no attachment to at all. Its nuts.

Good luck to him in his senior year. Hopefully when he lays everything out next January, hopefully he'll want to come home and be a Tiger.

This could be a positive. He is going to be gone from his family for an extended period of time for the first time. Not like camp or Nike Opening we are talking for months. I think Drake going to IMG made him understand how much he missed being home.

At least the kid speaks proper english. I think he only missed one comma.

Ultimately, this will give him the perspective of being away from home and he'll realize what a special place Louisiana is. I think this is a good thing for us.
