Head coach Ed Orgeron and offensive coordinator Steve Ensminger visited with four-star LSU quarterback commit Max Johnson on Wednesday night.

The longtime LSU commit is the son of former NFL quarterback and Super Bowl Champion Brad Johnson and Max's younger brother Jake is a class of 2022 tight end. Both can be seen below in the group picture.

Johnson, a 6-4, 215-pound prospect from Watkinsville, GA (Oconee County) is rated the No. 5 pro-style passer in the country, according to ESPN. He originally gave his verbal commitment to LSU back in November of 2018.

People better get used to hearing “Johnson to Jarrett” a lot in a couple years.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Orgeron likes these ex players or coaches sons. They’ve been doing it since they were little boys so I’m sure they know what they’re doing plus dad can always teach them a bit as well.

that's where Burrow's depth of knowledge and quick ability to adapt comes from.
I also think that was his greatest ability and is not one that necessarily shows up at practices...thanks for not noticing it tOSU
