New LSU offensive coordinator Matt Canada has already reached out to four-star quarterback commit Myles Brennan.

Brennan sent out a Tweet Wednesday night saying he had a great talk with Canada and will meet with him in person come January.

The pro-style passer from Bay Saint Louis, MS reopened his recruitment two weeks ago after LSU offered Alabama dual-threat quarterback commit Tua Tagovailoa.

Brennan said he remains committed to the Tigers but would wait to make a final decision until LSU hired its new offensive coordinator.

True freshman rarely come in and start in the SEC. Etling has basically a full season of SEC experience and improved every week, while showing poise, leadership and toughness. The only area he struggled in was the deep ball. With a full offseason to work with Canada on that, I fully expect him to take it to the next level his senior season. Just like Mettenberger did. That said, I want Myles Brennan to know you are very much wanted in BR, and you will be our starter when you're ready! I know Coach C. will work with all of the qb's and make them better. Scott and McMillan as well. These are all intelligent guys, and that's what we need. Wouldn't it be crazy to have a QB controversy because of good play for a change?

That's what I was waiting for. Canada already doing work. Finally. a legit Passing threat for LSU; who can already read defenses, go through progressions and process information quickly. (I love using that term) The LSU WR's and RB's will love Brennan more than Etling!

YES, YES, YES!!!! Bring him to BR coach. He'll make this team a legit passing threat. You can utilize the entire playbook with this guy. He will definitely make your job a lot easier. Narcisse is made of glass. You look at him wrong and he's heading to the injury report.

Dupree was nerdy too. Couldn't Dania his talent tho. The same can be said about Brennan...

Narcisse has barely played since his sophomore year. He may be the answer, but he's nowhere near "college ready"
