Four-star safety Michael Daugherty announced Wednesday night that he has committed to LSU.

Daugherty, a 6-1, 180-pound prospect from Loganville, Ga., picked the Tigers over North Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Louisville, and Miami. He is rated the No. 9 safety in the country for the class of 2023, according to 247Sports.

LSU now has three commitments for the class of 2023 with Daugherty's verbal pledge.
