Class of 2025 wide receiver Russell Babineaux from Lafayette, La., announced his top five schools on Twitter Tuesday and included LSU in the group.

His top schools are Auburn, Texas A&M, LSU, Ole Miss and Missouri.

The 5-9, 160-pound receiver from Acadiana High School is rated as a four-star prospect, according to Rivals and ESPN, and is a Top 10 player in Louisiana for the 2025 class.

Babineaux received his offer from LSU in April of 2022.

5'9 160. I just don't see that being utilized as WR at a SEC school. But I don't know shite about frick.

Great inside WR size. Could play ST's, returner, or inside at WR. He doesn't play like he's 160 and I seriously doubt he weighs that anymore. He's probably more like in the 180 range now. Still not huge but good enough to play if he's got the skills. He could also grow to 6' plus and put on 20 more pounds simply from his height growth. If he's got all the tools, then get him. I think he's just playing the game and he will be a Tiger.
