The LSU coaching staff received some great news on Wednesday afternoon when elite four-star cornerback Lorando Johnson announced his commitment to the Tigers.

Johnson, a 6-0, 180-pound prospect from Lancaster, TX (Lancaster HS) is rated the No. 11 cornerback in the country according to ESPN, 247Sports, and Rivals. He was on campus this past weekend for the LSU spring game.

LSU now has 11 commitments for the 2020 class, which ranks No. 3 overall in the country, according to the 247Sports Composite team recruiting rankings.

Forget the 4 star. We've gotten plenty of four star linemen in the past that won't hold up to the top tier programs. We need to stop losing the 5 stars.
