Liberty wide receiver CJ Daniels announced his commitment to LSU on Sunday afternoon.

Daniels visited Baton Rouge this weekend and is LSU's sixth commitment from the transfer portal.


The 6-1, 195-pound receiver from Lilburn, Ga., caught 55 passes for 1,067 yards and 10 touchdowns this past season.

Daniels has notched 106 receptions for 1,954 yards and 21 touchdowns over his four-year career at Liberty. He will have two years of eligibility remaining.

The way the staff is using the portal is quite impressive. We (as fans) may not think their getting the right positions, but it’s a methodical process and they have their reasons. Two good WRs to replace the ones we lost.
