2021 Five-Star OT Tommy Brockermeyer Unveils His Final 5 Schools
by TD Staff ReporterDecember 4, 2019
Elite five-star offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer from Fort Worth, Texas unveiled his final five schools on Wednesday night and included LSU in the group.
His top schools are Texas, Clemson, Alabama, LSU, and Auburn.
The 6-6, 280-pound prospect from All Saints Episcopal is the No. 1 offensive tackle in the country and the No. 1 player from the state of Texas for the class of 2021, according to all major recruiting sites.
While five schools made the cut, many believe that Brockermeyer is Texas-bound as his family has multiple connections with the Longhorns.
Tommy's father, Blake Brockermeyer, was an All-American offensive lineman at Texas from 1991-94 and was inducted into the UT Hall of Honor in 2015.
Tommy's grandfather, Kay, was an offensive tackle on the 1959 Texas team, and Tommy's older brother, Luke, is a current linebacker at Texas.

He isn’t leaving the family Legacy but worth a try I guess. Should get him to BR for the Texas beatdown next year.

Not remotely close, but Burrow didn’t (couldn’t) go to Nebraska. And Connor Neighbors was a multi-generational legacy at Bama. So it does happen.

I get that and good point it does happen but usually only in cases the player wasnt offered to play for their families Legacy school. In this case guy is rated #1 at his position. Apples well you know...
