It was reported on Thursday that LSU senior guard Xavier Pinson was entering the transfer portal as a grad transfer.

After the news broke, Pinson went on social media to express that he is still considering LSU as his 'main priority' while he explores his options.
quote:

xpinson:

LSU,

I will still be considering this university as my main priority. In the process, I will be seeking for a program who has the best plan in store for me & to raise my daughter. To the coaching staff, players, the fans, everyone involved in the many ups and downs here at LSU. Thank you guys for everything!

He was not the same player after returning from his knee injury. Shot bricks from long range after looking smooth has silk shooting before the injury. Let’s hope a new year allows him to get his mojo back.

Honestly he played terrible in high pressure spots a lot of the year

The real question is does Mr. Pinson fit this new LSU basketball team as designed by the head coach. If so, that's great.

Of course he does. McMahon will keep as much of the team intact as possible, especially a multi year starter obviously.

The kid can play! New coach will be glad to have him!

Maybe he just wants to go to a school that has an in coming freshman class and has other scholarship players on the team

These kids nowadays do not know what the meaning of loyalty and commitment. You would have never seen this happen (if it would have been allowed) with Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, Isiah Thomas and that generation. I thought Pinson did an "ok" job this year, but he can be replaced.

You have no idea if that is true or not. None.

Looks like he is searching for the next Damn Strong Offer….. tell me again, what did Wade get fired for again? Makes no sense

Sounds to me like he is getting his name out there in case we get heavy sanctions. Taking off my P&G glasses, I don’t blame him one bit.

Wade got fired for paying kids himself. That is not NIL. Schools, Coaches, or Administration cannot pay players. It’s pretty simple.

Yeah we know. Schools can’t pay kids directly. The money has to be laundered through a private donor first. It’s a meaningless distinction.

Well I thought he played well this year, and I hope he comes back for his last year to LSU!

Raise my daughter? Maybe give up bouncy ball and get a fu*king job. I guess Wade was paying for child care as well, since he needs to transfer to highest bidder.

Just go to the transfer portal. Don’t make any statements. You make no commitment to anyone with “main priority”.

Sounds like the school he chooses will be the one who offers him the most money “plan” to help raise his daughter.
