Four-star center Shawn Phillips from Dayton, Ohio announced his commitment to LSU on Tuesday.

The former NC State commit picked the Tigers over Georgetown, Kansas State, Miami, and the Overtime Elite league. He recently visited LSU two weeks ago.

The 6-10, 250-pound prospect is rated the No. 20 center in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Phillips is Matt McMahon's fourth high school signee at LSU. The Tigers now have a full allotment of 13 scholarship players.

It’s going to be fun to see how lineups work. Reed seems like he’s the most athletic of the bigs and reminds me of Simmons with how he can move with the ball.

6'10" with a 7'4" wingspan. And athletic. Rim protector. Offense consists only of dunks. Thus only 4*. But they'll work on that.

Lilqueeviewonder...By "work on that" I hope the kids buys into it and doesn't think he needs 10 shots a game.

Does Twitter think the shoelace in the background is his "member" sticking out and thus put the content warning up?
