LSU relief pitcher Todd Peterson had some great post-game comments after his huge two-run double vs. South Carolina on Thursday, which was his first at-bat since before high school.

LSU’s newest method for finding offensive production is now... LET THE PITCHERS HIT. First Bain, now Peterson. GEAUX Tigers!

What a beast. His RBIs were the difference since SC scored a run in the final half inning. What a performance by Peterson. Geaux tigers.

He is probably our best pitcher at this moment. Hess seems like he wearing down. Hilliard is solid. Labas has been good when he is healthy. But Peterson has been stellar in the closer role. The kid throws 95-96 with a pretty decent off speed pitch. He had a rough go at the beginning of the year, but in the closer role he is pretty damn good.

Exactly right Adama! This guy has shut teams down when we've needed him to and now comes up with this bomb to beat a team that swept us. LSU could catch fire and make a run at this. If we can get some pitchers to good health we would be a dangerous team right now. Next years team will be very good. I can see ole Paul winning one more in the next 2 years. Go Tigers!!
