ESPN's Pete Thamel reports that LSU pitching coach Wes Johnson is finalizing a deal to be the next head coach at Georgia.

Johnson was previously the Minnesota Twins' pitching coach but left his job in the Major League to join LSU's staff last June.

Much higher ceiling in Athens for anyone with class and ambition than they would have in corrupt Baton Rouge.
