I’ll admit I was and forever have been a “midweek games don’t matter” guy. But no one with any sense can’t find this troubling. We are suppose to be THE premier baseball program in the country. How can you scratch 1 run when you have the luxury to go get pretty much any HS hitter in the country? I realize some recruits go to the draft or slip thru your fingers to other programs but the fact remains. LSU baseball shouldn’t be getting housed by LA Tech is ANY thing much less Baseball. And it’s not an outlier, it’s become the norm.

And Scott does not mess around... has a history of getting rid of coaches who don't win pretty quick.

12-1? Mid week losses are one thing but 12-1?

Arkansas will go in dry all 3 games. This team has packed it in and the coach could care less.

The home page pic of Manieri for this post is pretty classic of how we think about the coach right now.

Is that a stock photo that is pulled out after every loss, or is that the standard petulant child pissy face he puts on when things don't go his way?

This is like being really shitty at golf and throwing your clubs in the water there is way too much to be frustrated about to be watching this coaching shite show. I love these kids and pull for them but holy frick this is difficult to watch.

Time to put Paul out to pasture. His performance the last few seasons is far below LSU standards. Plus,he’s a dick.

Can’t argue with that other than when you saw last few seasons, please don’t reference 2 years ago when they made it to the final series.

We half our pitching staff is very questionable. Of the 20 pitchers on staff the bottom 10 can't even pitch to Southern, ULL, McNeese, Nichols, NW State, or La Tech. How did LSU pitching get to this damn point? The saddest part is that it doesn't appear that any of the lower tier pitchers are emerging as even midweek capable. Depth is just not there. We have bodies but no arms.

This is getting pathetic. No offense half of the time and no pitching all of the time.
