My brother watched this kid play since he was 9 years old as he was in same district and through travel ball. He has 2 boys in college ball and one on the way and he said this kid has a big arm but it's a stretch to see him contributing at LSU much less the Sunbelt where his kids play ball. May get converted to a bullpen guy since he can pitch as well

Herman - where did you say your brother coaches? You and your brother can both shut the hell up. Johnson says he’s good enough and that’s all you need to know.

I’ll be honest I know absolutely nothing about him other than the mediocre stats posted on the article

Incredible the amount of negativity already thrown at this kid. He's SEC caliber and would not have been at USCe or offered by another if he wasn't. "Meh" and ".225 is not going to cut it" type of people can frick right off.

.225 won't cut it. But the described .255 might if the glove is there.

I will take Johnson’s evaluation of the guy over a few ignorant posters on this site.

I know you thought that was funny. But it's pretty nasty and cringe.

OBP guy that is a plus fielder and has decent speed. He will get his chance, if anything solid depth that can play at SS/2B.

Saw him play in Hoover, he has a good glove, plus SEC experience.

Might have only hit .255 but he only made 4 errors all year.

Guidry is going to be a starting Pitcher next year so yeah we will need a good SS. Let's roll.

It is glaringly obvious why the haters who post don't like this player.
