Georgia Demanding Retraction Of Article About Football Program Issues

By Larry LeoJul 12, 20234:00 amDiscuss the story19

An attorney on behalf of the University of Georgia is demanding the Atlanta Journal-Constitution retract an article about multiple domestic violence accusations within the football program...
quote:

"Mr. Judd's article is replete with errors, unsubstantiated allegations, innuendo, and possibly even fabrications," Raeber wrote. "We do not write to you lightly; we are accustomed to the rough scrutiny of a robust press, and we appreciate its central importance in a free society. But this article stands out in its reckless disregard for the truth and its imposition of a damaging narrative unsupported by the facts."

That’s journalism in a nut shell in this country unfortunately.

Yep, journalism used to be about telling what happened. Now, it's all agenda pushing.

Look at that Jerry Jones/Clarence Thomas post. The NYT's agenda just as well be a billboard in Manhattan.

Have they considered stopping the assaults?

They can’t even stop players from driving 40 mph over the speed limit after young people within that program just died from speeding. 11 fricking incidents since the deaths, and that’s just the ones who were caught.

By the way, I thought if you get stopped 30 mph over limit, they take your license and you go to jail?

UGA is an excellent academic school, with a lot of students from Atlanta. Maybe Georgia Southern or Valdosta State is what you're describing, but UGA is a class institution.
