I'd take it as a compliment if Power 5 schools were dropping me from their schedules to minimize risks to their overall results.

I like the old way honestly. I don’t give a damn about playing Kentucky and South Carolina while games that we’ve had for a hundred years are being rotated off. Then I look around the country at great intersectional games being killed so that every player gets to visit every campus in the conference?? Who gives a s—t? I think Bama went like 20 years without playing Kentucky and I didn’t give one fart.

Since conferences aren't going to be downsizing, GET RID of this dumb issue we HAVE to see every stadium every 4 years. Go back to divisions or pods & make a SENSIBLE rotation schedule!

It's probably more about revenue sharing. I could be completely wrong here...I'm just pulling that out of my a$$.

But my uneducated bet would be to look to revenue sharing as the explanation for that.
